What is IPL Intense Pulse Light Photo rejuvenation Therapy?
IPL Photo Rejuvenation therapy, often referred to as Photo Facial/Photo Body, is designed to combat the effects of aging and damaged skin in a non-invasive manner. It is a unique non-ablative process that does not wound the surface of the skin. The IPL energy is focused beneath the skin to gently stimulate the production of collagen, and to correct a variety of skin conditions and imperfections such as: freckling, birthmarks, age spots, sun damaged skin, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, unsightly small veins, flushing and redness, and rosacea. It offers a safe, non-invasive solution that can be tailored to your individual condition and skin type. As a photo rejuvenation specialist center we offer Photo Facial and Photo body Treatments. These are a specialized form of photo rejuvenation that is designed to reduce unwanted redness, pigmentary abnormalities, and fine lines and wrinkles with unsurpassed results.

What areas can be treated with IPL Photo Facial and Photo Body Photo rejuvenation?
Treatments can be performed to any area of the body. They are especially effective for improving the appearance of the face, neck, chest, arms and hands.

What are IPL treatments like?
A minimum of 5 treatments is usually required, depending on the area being treated and the effects are cumulative. Treatments are spaced at three-to-four-week intervals. Each session usually takes 45 – 60 minutes and is administered in the comfort and privacy of our laser suite. Most patients describe the sensations to be like a snap of a rubber band on the skin, as pulses of energy are delivered through a specially designed hand piece. After treatment the skin may appear a little reddened with a slight tingling or burning sensation that disappears within a couple of hours.

What results can I expect?
Patient with significant freckling, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage, will notice these imperfections to be darker in appearance, initially. The darkening of the brown spots lasts for a few days as the pigment becomes coarser and gently sloughs off. After one treatment, the skin will have a more even tone with a smoother look and feel. Sunspots fade, pore sizes decrease, vessels disappear, and the signs and symptoms of rosacea progressively fade away. What remains is smoother, healthier, younger looking skin!

Are you a candidate for Photo Facial/Photo Body Treatments?
The best candidates for IPl Photo Facial/Body treatments are patients who desire to improve multiple imperfections to their skin. People who suffer from rosacea and experience flushing and redness of their skin; people with early aging changes and sun damage who desire more youthful appearing skin; people who want to take time off work to heal from more invasive therapies, and people who have undergone recent chemical peels, laser resurfacing and facial surgeries to assist in the healing process. No other technology provides the long-term improvement of complexion and texture of the IPL PhotoFacial/PhotoBody program - all with no “downtime”.

Skin Pen Microneedling

Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process and triggers new collagen synthesis. It has been shown to reduce the visibility of acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles, diminish hyperpigmentation, and improve skin tone and texture, resulting in smoother, firmer, younger looking skin.

PRP/PRF Injections

PRP/PRF, or “Liquid Gold” as we like to call it, is the perfect solution to stimulate cell growth within the body. The patient’s blood is drawn, processed, and then used for treatment. The amazing benefits of PRP and PRF can be used to stimulate hair growth, diminish the appearance of scarring, encourage the body’s production of collagen, and much more.

Superficial Chemical Peels "Lunchtime Peels"

Superficial Peels that can be done over your lunch hour.

Medium-Depth Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels remove the outer layer of the skin to enhance the appearance as well as improve its functionality. They create controlled damage to the skin, exfoliate dead skin cells, stimulate cell renewal, and regenerate supportive dermal structures. Expect to peel with these peels.

Dermal Fillers/Biostimulating Fillers

Hyaluronic Dermal Fillers can be used to replace lost volume that happens with natural aging. They can also be used to enhance areas such as lips and also provide structure that has been lost with aging. Another option is a biostimulating and regenerative fillers like Radiesse. Radiesse not only provides volume but also stimulates collagen AND elastin.
